Job summary

Reach Subsea is seeking a Project and Structural Engineer to bolster our engineering team with responsibilities spanning tendering to offshore operations. The role offers opportunities in Haugesund and Aberdeen, NZ ensuring robust engineering practices and continuous development of processes and people.

You will apply your technical expertise in seafastening, structural analysis, and safety standards to deliver high-quality solutions across projects and tenders, while growing professionally

Qualifications

• Proven technical skills, analytical thinking, problem solving, collaboration, growth mindset, clear communication and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Seafastening calculations and analysis to optimise operations and support tender requirements.
• Write design reports, method statements, task plans and procedures aligned with project standards.
• Identify engineering services and equipment required – in-house or third party – to deliver the workscope.
• Engage with and identify improvements to engineering and seafastening processes for consistency across projects.
• Ensure lessons learned are captured and integrated into future planning and execution.
• Develop commercial awareness of engineering products and services to tenders and projects.
• Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and cost-effectiveness within the workscope.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager, Offshore Manager, and Shift Supervisors to enhance team performance.
