Job summary

AIS Marine Ltd in Plymouth, UK is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our team and support the manufacture and supply of buoyancy and fendering products for subsea and marine industries. The role involves operating production machinery, maintaining equipment, quality checks, and contributing to a safe, organized workspace.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on manufacturing experience, meticulous record-keeping, and the ability to follow precise drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Able to follow precise written instructions, specifications and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Capable of creating/keeping written records.
• Willing to work both independently and in a team.
• Able to work day and night shifts (40 hours/week).

Responsibilities

• Carry out day to day production.
• Maintain tools and equipment, including cleaning and safe storage.
• Carry out regular quality checks on produced products and recording findings.
• Assist other parts of production when needed.
• Maintain high levels of housekeeping in working areas.
• Work across multiple production areas as required.
