Proserv is seeking an Electrical Technician for our Subsea Centre of Excellence in Great Yarmouth. You will assemble, wire and test electrical control panels and related components to exact engineering specs, ensuring safe, high-quality output.

You will read schematics, follow procedures and support production through testing and troubleshooting, with occasional travel to customer or supplier sites as needed.

Qualificações

• Must be a qualified electrician with formal training (apprenticeship, NVQ or equivalent).
• Experience building and testing small electrical panels.
• Knowledge of Wellhead Control Panel layout and testing.
• Safety, COSHH and risk assessment training.
• Willingness to travel to customer or supplier sites.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble, wire and test electrical control panels, junction boxes and instrumentation panels.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for layout planning.
• Route, terminate and label wiring and cables per industry standards.
• Carry out continuity, insulation resistance and functional testing on panels.
• Troubleshoot wiring faults and component failures, reporting issues to engineers.
• Travel occasionally to customer or supplier premises as required.
