Job summary

Genesis Energies in the UK seeks a Principal Subsea Controls Engineer (contract, outside IR35) to lead the design, delivery and integration of subsea control systems across concept, FEED, installation and commissioning phases.

The role requires strong knowledge of subsea controls equipment, umbilicals, electrical and hydraulic systems, and delivery under international standards. Fluency in English and chartered engineering status are preferred.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of subsea controls equipment, umbilicals, interfaces and key codes and standards.
• Good knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Full command of English language.
• Good computer literacy with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of Subsea Controls Systems in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Definition of subsea controls equipment and architecture for concept and FEED studies.
• Package management for design, procurement, installation and commissioning of new systems.
• Operations support and system integrity management.
• Support to interface engineering and subsea system management.
