Job summary

KineticPlc in the Bristol area seeks a Senior Systems Engineer for a 12-month contract to support Subsea Production Control Systems across tendering and project execution. You will lead systems engineering activities, from design to testing and delivery, engaging with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure robust technical solutions.

The role requires substantial experience in subsea production controls, strong systems engineering skills, and the ability to travel internationally.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Engineering, Marine Engineering or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in Subsea Production Control Systems.
• Strong Systems Engineering knowledge: Requirements Management, Architecture & Integration, Risk Management.
• Experience supporting complex engineering projects and working with customers.
• Excellent communication and planning skills; ability to prioritise and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the systems engineering input into tender activities for Subsea Production Control Systems.
• Review customer specifications, prepare technical documentation and risk registers.
• Develop system architectures, requirements documentation and Functional Design Specifications.
• Support verification, validation, change control and configuration management.
• Coordinate with commercial and engineering teams to deliver technically robust solutions.
• Support FAT/SIT activities and engage with customers throughout the project lifecycle.
