Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment seeks a Subsea Construction Engineer in London to lead safe, efficient subsea infrastructure installation on a contract basis outside IR35. The role requires strong marine operations knowledge and offshore readiness.

You will coordinate pipelay, structure installation and tie-ins, and serve as the conduit between installation contractors and the project team while ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance across offshore activities.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in engineering or a related field.
• Significant subsea installation or SURF project experience.
• Strong working knowledge of marine operations and vessel spreads.
• Excellent contractor management and communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to spend time offshore and must have the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Plan the safe and efficient installation of subsea infrastructure.
• Contribute installation expertise during design and engineering phases.
• Organise pipelay, structure installation, and tie-in scopes.
• Act as the link between installation contractors and the project team.
• Support the team offshore during installation and hook-up activities.
• Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Identify and help mitigate construction risks.
• Write and review installation procedures.
