We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Subscriptions Marketing Manager to work across our automotive portfolio.

The Subscriptions Marketing Manager will work as part of a small team creating and executing marketing plans to grow audience and revenue across all marketing channels. It includes acquisition and retention responsibilities with direct responsibility for one marketing executive.


Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and analyse multi-channel marketing campaigns including both digital and offline channels
  • Work with forecasting models and report on campaign KPIs to provide insights into performance
  • Work with our performance marketing agency to manage paid campaigns that drive acquisitions
  • Work closely with the martech team to manage email campaigns & understand channel performance and CRM opportunities across both acquisition and retention
  • Work on retention programs to improve existing subscriber engagement
  • Liaise with editorial and commercial teams as well as external parties to maximise partnership opportunities
  • Help manage subscriptions operations and day-to-day liaising with our internal Customer Services team, subscriptions bureau, affiliates, and agencies
  • Monitor & understand market trends, consumer behaviours, and competitor activity to help identify opportunities to scale performance
  • Work closely with brand guardians, copywriters, and designers to create on-brand creative campaigns

Skills / Experience / Knowledge / Minimum Criteria

Experience

Subscriptions marketing experience, ideally in publishing, including experience working with lifetime value models. Experience using subscription forecasting models to track performance and KPIs.

  • Proactive and able to work independently to look for new creative opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work using own initiative and turn their hand to all opportunities
  • Ability to work with a wide range of people including senior stakeholders
  • Plenty of drive and determination - a confident team player
  • Excellent organisational skills and a methodical approach to your work
  • Ability to develop a network of marketing and industry external contacts
  • Analytical and data driven with strong numeracy skills
