An established aerospace & defence firm seeks a Submarine Support Engineer for a hybrid role based in Cumbria. Responsibilities include providing technical leadership, assessing system designs, and engaging with various stakeholders in submarine programmes. Our client, an established aerospace & defence manufacturing firm in Cumbria, require an experienced Submarine Support Engineer to join their multi-disciplined team.
You will join an established team tasked with the delivery and assurance of maintenance derivation work, maintenance task analysis, level of repair analysis and maintenance tasks instructions. The role involves collaboration with a range of Internal and External stakeholders including industry partners across a number of Submarine programmes.
This role would require 1 full week in Cumbria every 4-6 weeks. Base locations for those not local to Cumbria include Faslane / Bristol / Hull / Weymouth & Portsmouth.
