Babcock International is offering a Mechanical Engineering Graduate Programme at Devonport, Plymouth. Starting salary is at least £35,000, with the final amount based on role, location and qualifications.

The two-year on-site programme includes placements across Design Authority, Plant Management, Safety Case, and Operational Support, with rotations onboard submarines and in facilities. You will develop through mentoring, masterclasses, and CPD, progressing toward a permanent Mechanical Engineer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Must be able to obtain BPSS, Security Check (SC) and NNPP clearance.
• UK national or UK resident required.

Responsabilités

• Support activities across the engineering lifecycle for mechanical systems and equipment.
• Create engineering drawings and CAD models; write detailed technical reports.
• Participate in inspections and validations, including onboard submarines.
