Job summary

Babcock International offers a 4-year Engineering (Design and Manufacture) Graduate Apprenticeship to start your engineering career with purpose, contributing to UK defence programmes while pursuing a BEng (Hons) degree and gaining hands-on Fleet Engineering experience at HM Naval Base Clyde.

The programme blends workplace learning with university study, leading to a fully funded qualification and broad development across maintenance, design and continuous improvement in a highly regulated

Qualifications

• Scottish Highers: BBCC, including Maths and a science or technology subject.
• Foundation Apprenticeships counted as one Higher, with SQA Highers.
• SCQF Level 6 Modern Apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (with SQA Highers).
• Resident in Scotland; graduates apprenticeships limited to Scotland residents.
• On-site attendance required; commute to HM Naval Base Clyde or relocation may be needed.
• Security clearance restrictions apply; BPSS and SC clearance may be required.
