Job summary

Babcock International offers a 4-year Engineering (Design and Manufacture) Graduate Apprenticeship at HM Naval Base Clyde. You will work with the Fleet Programmes team, contributing to maintenance, upgrade and readiness of the Royal Navy submarine fleet while pursuing a BEng (Hons) degree.

The programme includes three days per week in the workplace and one day per week of university study in partnership with Glasgow Caledonian University, developing skills in engineering design, manufacturing

Qualifications

• Scottish Highers BBCC or equivalent, including Maths and a science or technology subject.
• Foundation Apprenticeships (counting as one Higher at grade B), in combination with SQA Highers.
• Modern Apprenticeship at SCQF Level 6 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (equivalent to two Highers at B), in combination with SQA Highers.

Education

Scottish Highers BBCC including Maths and a science or technology subject

Foundation Apprenticeship (one Higher at grade B)

SCQF Level 6 Modern Apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (with SQA Highers)
