Job Description:

As our Subject Matter Expert - Mechanical Data Center Design EMEA (m/f/d), you will be a key member of the NTT Global Design Standards team, working on translating the NTT GID Design Product defined Owners Project Requirements (OPR) into the Global Reference Design (GRD). You will collaborate closely with the Senior Director of Global Design Standards to enhance design processes and procedures.

What you will do

• Support regional understanding of the NTT Global Reference Design (GRD) and its engineering details as localized and deployed through third-party architects and engineers.
• Interface with internal stakeholders from various functions, including the NTT Product team and Regional Delivery teams.
• Assist in design reviews at all project stages.
• Consult with Engineering, Expansion, Construction, Operations, Product, and Sales teams to ensure optimal design decisions.
• Contribute to the development of the Global Reference Design and regional variants.
• Assist in specifications and procurement of Owner Furnished Contractor Installed equipment.
• Serve as a focal point for lessons learned to improve GRD development and cascade to regional teams.

What we are looking for

• University degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Architectural, Building Engineering, or related).
• Significant experience in deploying Mechanical Engineering installations in new build data centers, including hyperscale wholesale and enterprise colocation.
• Experience working internationally with strong communication skills.
• Proficient understanding of other design disciplines for data center delivery.
• This role is expected to be remote with approximately 15% travel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
