About The Role

Moulsham High School is a larger than average 11-18 comprehensive school where all students consistently achieve highly. Overall progress and attainment have been well above Essex and national averages for 8 years, consistently placing us in the top 16% of all schools nationally. We are seeking an experienced business studies specialist to lead our successful business studies and economics team. The ability to also teach economics is desirable but not essential. The department is staffed solely by subject specialists, with facilities including wireless networked classrooms, SmartScreens, and at least thirty computers per room.

The Subject Leader will be responsible for the outcomes of all students in business studies and economics, including SEND and disadvantaged pupils. Both GCSE and A-level uptake is high, and the faculty offers BTEC Business at Levels 2 and 3. This role offers a strong platform for further promotion to Head of Faculty or higher.
