Subcontractor Procurement Manager

Full-Time, Permanent

Based in Sheffield

Salary: £65,000 - 70,000 per annum

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Subcontractor Procurement Manager to join a leading Property Maintenance Group. Your responsibilities will include overseeing subcontractor procurement for specialist services across the group.

• Ensure subcontractors meet legal, environmental, and ESG standards.
• Maintain compliance, contractual terms, and insurance documentation.
• Support ESG reporting, including scope 3 emissions and social impact.
• Assist in subcontractor selection and onboarding for new contracts.
• Analyse and optimise subcontractor spend and rate variability.
• Create a subcontractor categorisation framework to enhance procurement clarity.
• Track and analyse costs to identify savings opportunities.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs to measure procurement performance.
• Provide procurement support to operational teams as needed.

Essential/Desirable Experience & Skills:

• Proven experience managing subcontractor procurement in property maintenance or similar sectors.
• Strong knowledge of procurement compliance, market benchmarking, and ESG standards.
• Advanced negotiation, data analysis, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in cost optimisation and M&A integrations.
• Proficiency in procurement systems and reporting tools.
• Experience with procurement automation or software solutions.
• Experience with sustainability reporting, e.g., scope 3 emissions.

Other Requirements:

• Adaptable, proactive, with a strong sense of ownership.
• Willing to travel across the UK as needed.
• Holds a valid UK driving license.
