What is the role?

The purpose of the role is to ensure our subcontract ledger supply is paid on time and any queries are dealt with in a prompt and efficient manner.

What You'll Do As a Subcontractor Ledger Clerk

  • Processing subcontract certificates/invoices on to the subcontract ledger
  • Preparing subcontractor & labour only payment runs
  • Subcontractor statement reconciliations
  • Ensuring correct level of authorisation is obtained for certificates & payments
  • Costing certificates/invoices to contracts
  • Monthly CIS returns
  • Liaising with our internal teams to resolve queries
  • Dealing with subcontractor queries – telephone and emails
  • Adhoc accounts duties

What experience do I need?

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a busy organisation
  • COINS experience would be hugely beneficial but not essential
  • Diligent and organised
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excel skills required
  • Good communication skills
