What you’ll be doing

We are looking for a procurement professional to lead and manage procurement activities for strategic bids and projects, supporting business growth and winning new contracts. The role involves working on a hybrid basis, with the candidate ideally residing near Guildford or London, as some office attendance (a few times per week) will be required based on business needs.

• Represent procurement in major bids involving third-party spend, ensuring compliance with processes.
• Develop effective communication and relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as an advocate for procurement.
• Manage your workload within procurement policies, prioritize tasks, and escalate issues outside your control.

Your skills and experience

• Significant experience in a business-winning procurement environment.
• Strong competence in sourcing, procurement processes, negotiation, and contracting.
• Excellent project management skills, commercial and financial acumen, and risk management abilities.
• Good relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of market intelligence and external environment.
• Strong business acumen.
• Experience in leading strategic bids and campaigns throughout the lifecycle.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to develop and lead high-performing teams and foster an inclusive, positive work culture.
• Holding a CIPS Level 5 qualification, IACCM, or equivalent.
• Must hold SC clearance or be a UK national eligible to obtain it.
