Job Title: Subcontract/Procurement Manager

Location: Frimley - Hybrid

What you’ll be doing

We are looking for a procurement professional to lead and manage procurement activities for strategic bids and projects, supporting business growth. The role involves working on a hybrid basis, with the candidate ideally residing near Guildford or London, and required to attend the office a few times per week as needed.

• Represent procurement in major bids involving third-party spend, ensuring compliance with processes.
• Develop effective communications and relationships with internal and external stakeholders, advocating for procurement.
• Manage your workload within procurement policies, prioritize tasks, and escalate issues outside your control.

Your skills and experience

• Significant experience in a business-winning procurement environment.
• High standards of procurement competence, especially in sourcing, negotiation, and contracting.
• Excellent project management, commercial acumen, financial awareness, and risk management skills.
• Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Good understanding of market intelligence and external environment.
• Demonstrated business acumen and ability to lead strategic bids and campaigns.
• Leadership skills to develop and manage high-performing teams.
• CIPS Level 5 qualification, IACCM, or equivalent.
• Must hold SC clearance or be eligible to obtain it as a UK national.
