Job Description

Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) are the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR, a leading global engineering, construction, and services company.

KBR supports the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents, offering challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects.

We are looking to recruit a Subcontracts Manager for a 10-month contract, based in Leatherhead, Surrey.

Purpose of the Role:

Develop, implement, and manage a portfolio of large EPCM package contracts and site services agreements associated with the project.

  • Prepare and issue tender documentation where applicable.
  • Compile tender documentation, ensuring that the package is complete and viable.
  • Strategize and hold tender clarification meetings.
  • Facilitate information to and from tenderers.
  • Issue tender bulletins and clarification documentation.
  • Ensure that technical and commercial negotiation evaluations and strategies are carried out in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and manage the issuance of contracts and their documentation.
  • Prepare and hold Kick Off Meetings.
  • Plan, develop, and execute post-award contract management activities.
  • Responsible for contract close-out.
  • Report contract progress from pre to post-award through project systems.

Relationships:

  • Works with a multi-discipline project team
  • Deals with contractors, OIMs, and suppliers
  • Interacts with clients and KBR stakeholders

Education:

BSc or university degree in any of the main legal, business, or engineering branches (e.g., mechanical, civil, electrical, chemical, or equivalent).

Experience:

  • EPCM experience is essential
  • Minimum of 7 years in developing and executing contracts & procurement within oil & gas projects
  • Previous experience within KBR and/or EPCM projects is preferred but not essential
  • Aramco experience is essential
