Job Title: Subcontract Gas Breakdown Engineer

Location: Brighton/RH

Day Rate: GBP250 a day

Contract Type: Private Customers

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5.30pm

About the Role

Skilled Careers has a fantastic opportunity for a Gas Service and Breakdown Engineer working with private housing customers. Experience with private customers and contract work is preferred but not mandatory.

As a Domestic Breakdown Engineer, you will cover areas between BN & RH postcodes, carrying out repairs on social and private housing properties. You must be able to diagnose issues and complete repairs, including fitting relevant parts.

Engineers will be required to:

1. Carry out safety checks and gas boiler services
2. Diagnose faults in boilers
3. Repair and fit boiler parts
4. Provide effective customer service

Candidates must provide:

1. ACS qualifications for cookers and fires (essential)
2. A full driving license and a van
3. Right to work in the UK
4. Own tools
5. DBS check
6. FGA calibration certificate
7. Minimum GBP 2 million public liability insurance
8. Gas Safe Registration
