Job Title: Subcontract Gas Breakdown Engineer

Location: Brighton/RH

Day Rate: £250 a day

Contract Type: Private Customers

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5.30pm

About the Role

Skilled Careers has a fantastic opportunity for a GAS Service AND Breakdown engineer, working with private housing customers, which would be suitable for engineers with a private customer and contract background. The company we represent holds great respect and reviews amongst thousands of current or former employees, along with their continually serviced customers across the South East of England. They are seeking committed, hard-working, and experienced gas engineers who take pride in their work, given the vital nature of this role.

As a Domestic Breakdown Engineer, you will help deliver services in BN & RH postcodes and will carry out repairs on social housing or private housing properties. Engineers must be able to complete breakdowns from diagnosing faults to fitting relevant parts.

Responsibilities

• Carry out safety checks and gas boiler services
• Diagnose faults in boilers
• Repair and fit boiler parts
• Provide effective customer service

Requirements

• ACS Qualifications – Cookers and fires essential
• A full driving licence AND Van
• Right to work in the UK
• Own tools
• A DBS check
• FGA calibration certificate
• Minimum £2 million Public Liability insurance
• Gas Safe Registered
