Job Title: Sub-Department Administration Officer

The Department of Physics is seeking to appoint a Sub-Department Administration Officer within the Sub-Department of Condensed Matter Physics.

Position Details:

  • Full-time and permanent role.
  • On-site work required; option for one day per week remote work.

Role Overview:

The postholder will support Condensed Matter Physics and assist the Head of the Sub-Department by providing efficient administrative services. The role involves interaction with academics, research staff, students, senior leaders, and visitors from other departments or institutions.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in administration or as a PA.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to multitask and a proactive attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and openness to new technology.
