Sub-Departmental Administration Officer
Condensed Matter Physics, Department of Physics, Clarendon Laboratory Building, Parks Road, Oxford, OX1 3PU

Position Overview

The Department of Physics is seeking to appoint a Sub-Department Administration Officer to work within the Sub-Department of Condensed Matter Physics. This is a full-time and permanent position, requiring on-site work with an option for one day of remote work per week.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide efficient and smooth administrative support to Condensed Matter Physics.
  2. Support the Head of the Sub-Department and interact with academics, research staff, students, senior leaders, and visitors.
  3. Manage a broad range of administrative tasks with professionalism and flexibility.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience as an administrator or PA with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and a proactive attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to adopt new technologies.
