Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Assembly line fitting.
2. To read and clearly understand engineering drawings.
3. Meet set targets while working in assembly area.
4. Assemble machines to correct specification and quality standards using relevant specification and Bills of Materials.
5. Support and assist in solutions to overcome problems found on assembly.
6. Assist and support in testing set ups.
7. Ensure proper handling and storage of assembly tools.
8. Ensure proper handling of equipment to minimise damage through assemble process.
9. Assembly and sub-assembly of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components using battery and air powered tools.
10. Grinding and cutting operations using 9” and 4” angle grinders.
11. Safe and controlled movement of production parts i.e. lifting and transporting components in the workshop using Gantry and Jib cranes.
12. Safe use of lifting slings, lock-out and tag-out procedures.
