Advance TRS is seeking a Sub Agent- Rail Civils to oversee civil engineering aspects on rail projects in the South West region. The role focuses on delivering technical excellence, ensuring standards compliance, and coordinating with clients and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate has extensive civil engineering experience, especially in sub-agent roles, and a track record of managing contractors on rail or civils projects. Permanent position with opportunity for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Be an experienced civil engineer.
• Have five years relevant experience.
• Proven experience managing sub contractors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the civil engineering on allocated company contracts are technically compliant with the relevant Group, client & company standards.
• Act as the civil engineering technical contact and liaison with clients and sub-contractors in order to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure integration of design, installation and testing and that the end product meets the client specification and has technical integrity.
• Carry out project risk assessments.
• Attend engineering reviews as required for allocated contracts.

I am looking for a sub agent with a good civils background, to deliver civil engineering technical excellence for civil engineering works associated with various projects

Role

You will have previous experience working in a similar role within civils work from a sub agent perspective. This role would suit a civil engineer.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensure the civil engineering on allocated company contracts are technically compliant with the relevant Group, client & company standards.
• Act as the civil engineering technical contact and liaison with clients and sub-contractors in order to resolve technical issues.

Essential requirements:

• Be an experience civil engineer.
• Have five years relevant experience..
• Proven experience managing sub contractors .

Desirable:

Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have a degree in a relevant discipline such as Civil Engineering.
