Job summary

Clarke Bridges Resourcing is seeking a PTS Sub Agent to join their well-established Rail & Civils Contractor in Glasgow. The successful candidate will work on multi-disciplinary projects involving Civil Engineering, Signalling, OLE, Structures, and P-Way.

Qualified candidates should have at least 5 years of Rail project experience and be adept in managing engineering operations. This permanent role will provide opportunities to work on significant Railway enhancements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience on multi-disciplinary Rail projects.
• Experience of managing site engineering operations.
• Ability to produce and explain accurate plans and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Project Manager in delivery of Railway projects.
• Completing Site Paperwork such as WPP's and Task Briefings.
• Overseeing a team of engineering staff and checking their work.

Job description

PTS Sub Agent required to join a well-established Rail & Civils Contractor in the Central Belt of Scotland, on a permanent basis. The projects will be multi-disciplinary, involving Civil Engineering, Signalling, OLE, Structures and P-Way. The ideal candidate will have experience of working on multi-disciplinary Rail and Railway Station works.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree qualified, in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience on multi-disciplinary Rail projects
• Excellent understanding of GRIP phases
• Experience of managing site engineering operations
• Relevant industry qualification (HND/HNC/BEng) or equivalent
• Extensive civil engineering and Rail experience
• Ability to produce, explain accurate plans and drawings
• Sound knowledge of construction methods, health and safety, and legal regulations

Role Responsibilities

• Assisting the Project Manager in the delivery of a large multi-disciplinary Railway project
• Completing Site Paperwork such as WPP's and Task Briefings
• Ensuring the work is completed in accordance with design requirements
• Raising technical issues
• Ensuring permits are in place
• Overseeing a team of engineering staff, checking their work where necessary
