Sub Agent
The Role

As a Sub Agent, you will manage small civil engineering and construction sites or assist the Site Agent and Project Manager on larger schemes, ensuring project delivery aligns with customer objectives while maintaining health and safety, quality, environmental standards, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Management: Maintain contract performance, deliver projects successfully, produce/manage project programmes, interpret drawings/specifications, support the project team, ensure staff qualifications, represent the business, deliver customer satisfaction, produce reports, chair meetings, and ensure accurate 'as built' information.
Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality
  • Comply with procedures and legal obligations, promote safety and environmental practices, manage site documentation, conduct inspections, liaise with authorities, and ensure defect-free delivery.
Cost Control
  • Manage project cost plans, maximize value, challenge costs, and maintain records.
Managing Resources
  • Address resource issues promptly, keep accurate records.
Key Measures and Targets
  • Meet reporting deadlines, adhere to business objectives, and meet KPI measures.
Key Relationships
  • Customers, stakeholders, subcontractors, suppliers, site teams, and support departments.
About You

Essential: Extensive civil engineering experience, NEC contract knowledge, CDM regulations, design management, programme and risk management, cost control, relevant qualifications, CSCS, SMSTS, NEBOSH/IOSH, driving license, strong communication and leadership skills, problem-solving ability, and alignment with company values.

Desirable: Working towards CEng or equivalent, water sector experience, temporary works coordination, leadership experience, and additional safety training.
