Seeking a Sub Agent working on LUL, Network Rail and TFL rail contracts.

This role would suit an individual who is currently in a Sub Agent position or a CivilEngineer/Section Engineer who is currently looking to take the next step into management. It is essential to be from a Civil Engineering background and applicants are likely to have a minimum of an HND in Civil Engineering. It is vital that you have a history of working on a variety of civil engineering projects within a rail environment and you must be from an Engineering background and be able to coordinate designs and be able to plan jobs using Primavera P6. Knowledge of the TFL Quality Assurance procedures is also desirable.

Candidates are required to hold/have heldthe following tickets:

• ICILU/Lucas
• PTS
• LU Track Awareness
• CSCS

Having a valid First Aid & SMSTS would also be beneficial.

Reporting to a Project Manager, duties include but are not limited to:

• Controlling health, safety, quality & environmental activities
• Delivery of works to program & budget
• Site Supervision
• Setting out
• Site record keeping and paperwork
• Writing WPP’s & Task Briefings
• Producing Method Statements & Risk Assessments
• Pre-start site inspections
• Planning (using Primavera P6), including road closures and possessions
• Design Coordination
• QA procedures
• Providing plant & materials
• Client liaison
