Job summary

Fawkes & Reece in North West London is seeking an experienced Sub Agent to support the delivery of highways, utilities and civils works on a flagship HS2 project. You will take ownership of key sections of work and ensure safe, efficient delivery while coordinating with on-site teams.

You will lead engineers and subcontractors, drive programme, monitor quality and commercial performance, and ensure works are completed on time and within budget in a major joint venture environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Sub Agent on major civil engineering/infrastructure projects.
• Strong background in highways, utilities, drainage, structures or heavy civils.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams.
• Good understanding of NEC contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of highways, utilities and civil engineering works from start to completion.
• Lead engineers, supervisors and subcontractors on site.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
• Drive short-term planning and programme management activities.
• Manage subcontractor performance and site coordination.
• Produce progress reports, forecasts and project updates.
• Support commercial management, change control and NEC contract administration.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality requirements and HSEQ standards.
