Red Sky Personnel are recruiting for an experienced Sub Agent to work on Highways schemes in Kent.

Key Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in the civils sector, including highways and roads schemes, working for a main contractor and with the NEC contract.
  • Experience as a Sub Agent within the UK Civil Engineering sector, particularly in Highways projects.
  • Relevant industry qualification such as SMSTS or equivalent.
  • Significant main contractor civils experience, including new highways, rain gardens, entry/exit systems, and public realm works.
  • A full UK driving license and willingness to travel throughout the Eastern Region.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the Site Agent or Project Manager in executing duties and managing smaller contracts.
  2. Manage site staff, operatives, and sub-contractors.
  3. Provide method statements, hazard risk assessments, and project management plans.
  4. Monitor contract costs against budgets and understand tender allowances.
  5. Prepare and monitor work programmes.
  6. Assess and engage sub-contractors.
  7. Ensure timely and profitable contract completion.
  8. Engage with local groups and maintain good client relations.
