Job summary

Pertemps TM is recruiting a Sub Agent for a major highways and infrastructure project in Somerset on a long-term contract through to the end of 2027. The role reports to the Project Manager and Site Agent, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest standards.

You will coordinate site operations, manage subcontractors, maintain client relationships and support the engineering and commercial teams throughout the project lifecycle. Immediate start and weekly pay available.

Qualifications

• Sub Agent with civil engineering experience required.
• Highways and infrastructure experience essential.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• SMSTS, CSCS Card and full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Support the successful delivery of major civil engineering projects.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
• Liaise with clients, designers and key stakeholders.
• Monitor progress and identify project risks and opportunities.
• Maintain accurate site records and reporting.
• Ensure Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental standards are maintained.
• Support planning, programming and project delivery.
