Job summary

Carrington West is recruiting an experienced Sub Agent for a major infrastructure project in Lincoln. You will lead a dedicated section, coordinating with the Site Agent and project team to deliver works safely, on time and to the required standards.

The ideal candidate has proven Sub Agent experience on large civil engineering schemes (£50m+), strong leadership and communication skills, and a solid understanding of RAMS, safety and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven Sub Agent experience in civil engineering projects.
• Experience on major infrastructure schemes (£50m+).
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Understanding of RAMS, safety and quality requirements.
• Qualification in civil engineering (relevant degree or diploma).

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate site activities within your allocated section.
• Work with Site Agent, Project Manager and engineering teams.
• Ensure delivery aligns with programme, budget and quality.
• Supervise engineers, subcontractors and site teams.
• Review drawings, specifications and construction programmes.
• Monitor progress and identify delays or issues.
• Maintain accurate site records and report progress to senior management.
• Coordinate with RAMS and project procedures.
• Support Site Agent with overall project delivery.
