Job summary

Pinnacle Recruitment is seeking an experienced Sub Agent to join a major Civil Contractor on a multi-million pound project near Redcar, England. The contract is for approximately 24 months with potential regional work thereafter.

The successful candidate will lead on-site technical delivery, safety, and quality across civils works including highways, earthworks, tunnelling or rail-related packages. You will have a proven track record on civils schemes and will work with a team to drive progress,

Qualifications

MEng, BEng, Foundation Degree, or BTEC in Civil Engineering required.
CSCS card holder required.

Responsibilities

Act as the main technical adviser on site for subcontractors and the wider workforce.
Develop safe systems of work, method statements and quality documentation (ITPs/QRPs).
Produce, monitor and control budgets for sections of work scope.
Ensure materials and works comply with specifications.
Oversee selection and requisition of materials.
Manage and interpret contract drawings and documents.
Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, planners and QS.
Attend progress meetings and supervise site labour and subcontractors.
Plan work and organise plant and site facilities to meet deadlines.
Oversee quality control and health and safety on site.
Prepare reports and resolve technical issues.
