We're looking for a Sub Agent to join our Regional Civils team based at Bridgwater Tidal Barrier in Somerset.

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

What will you be responsible for?

As a Sub Agent, you'll work within the Regional Civils team, supporting them by collaborating on a Delivery Framework with the Environment Agency to deliver schemes across the Southwest.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with construction strategy, including kick-off meetings, pre-commencement documentation such as method statements, environmental and quality plans, construction programmes, procurement, and design delivery schedules.
• Liaising with the Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, materials, and temporary works to carry out required activities.
• Managing the site engineering team and being responsible for the performance and development of Site and Section Engineers.
• Identifying and resolving technical site issues in liaison with the Agent.
• Ensuring site teams have the necessary documentation, information, and resources to carry out their duties.

What are we looking for?

This role of Sub Agent is ideal if you:

• Hold a relevant HNC/degree.
• Have practical experience and knowledge of site engineering activities, combined with supervision skills.
• Hold a CSCS card - Supervisor Gold, experienced Supervisor, or Manager.
