Sub Agent

The Role:

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading main contractor for an experienced Sub Agent to join a major infrastructure project. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Sub Agent to play a key role in project delivery, ensuring high standards of health & safety, quality, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Project Manager and Site Agent in delivering the project on time and within budget.
2. Lead site management, ensuring engineering control, risk assessments, and compliance.
3. Manage subcontractors and supply chain partners to meet project milestones.
4. Monitor and control progress, reporting to the Project Manager.
5. Oversee temporary works, materials, and engineering solutions.
6. Ensure compliance with HSEQ regulations, CDM, and legal obligations.
7. Maintain accurate project records, site diaries, and QA documentation.
8. Conduct safety briefings, audits, and promote best practices on-site.
9. Identify and implement value engineering opportunities.

Requirements:

1. Experience as a Sub Agent or Supervisor on highways or infrastructure projects.
2. Strong knowledge of engineering principles, drawings, and specifications.
3. SMSTS, CSCS, and relevant engineering qualifications.
4. Proven ability to manage teams, subcontractors, and site operations.
5. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Office 365, and project reporting tools.
