Qualifications

• Qualification ICE pour Technicien ou niveau équivalent souhaité.
• Expérience récente en tant qu'ingénieur de section nécessaire.
• Connaissance approfondie des procédures de sécurité et d'environnement.

Responsibilities

Building a sustainable tomorrow

The Transpennine Route Upgrade is a major investment in the railway between York and Manchester via Leeds and Huddersfield. TRU is a multi-billion-pound, transformative, long-term railway infrastructure programme that will improve connectivity in the North. It will support economic growth and deliver benefits for passengers and communities along this pivotal rail artery.

TRU offers exciting civil engineering opportunities in the Huddersfield to Dewsbury corridor. We are looking for Sub Agents to join our dynamic team during the construction phase of this prestigious scheme.

Your mission

You will be responsible for:

• Setting an example in health, safety, and environmental matters, ensuring compliance with policies through method statements, risk assessments, and briefings.
• Managing, supervising, and mentoring Section, Site, and Assistant Engineers to maintain high engineering standards and proper record keeping.
• Maintaining good relationships with Alliance staff and supply chain partners.
• Promoting a cost-conscious attitude by efficiently using resources.
• Supporting the Agent with cost management, short-term programming, and resource planning.
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders and fostering collaboration.
• Adopting and promoting BIM technologies.
• Coordinating with the General Foreman for work preparation and resource availability.
• Assisting in procuring materials, sub-contracts, and plant timely.
• Conducting 1-to-1 meetings, PDRs, and supporting junior staff development.
• Identifying and addressing non-conformances with corrective actions.

Who are we looking for?

Qualifications and experience include:

• Qualified to ICE Technician or Incorporated level or equivalent (preferred).
• Proven performance as a Section Engineer in recent years.
• Thorough knowledge of health, safety, quality, and environment procedures.
• Growing commercial and contractual knowledge.
• Completion of SMSTS certification.
