Join Our Natural Resources Team as a Sub-Agent

We're seeking a Sub-Agent to join our Natural Resources team, working on projects for Thames Water. In this role, you will support projects and help deliver the requirements of both above and below ground assets. Your initial focus will be Hogsmill, Surrey.

Location: Hogsmill, Surrey
Contract: Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part-time hours may be available; just let us know.

Responsibilities

As a Sub-Agent, you will play a vital role in supporting the Site Agent/Project Manager in the day-to-day management and successful delivery of specific sections or packages of work on a construction project. Your duties include:

• Managing subcontractors, coordinating site activities, and monitoring performance and safety compliance.
• Supervising direct workforce, monitoring progress and quality of work.
• Implementing quality control procedures and reporting issues.
• Assisting with material management, ordering, and waste minimization.
• Monitoring costs, identifying savings opportunities, and maintaining accurate records.

What Are We Looking For?

This Sub-Agent role is ideal if you have:

• Experience in a construction trade or related role, demonstrating practical site knowledge.
• Supervisory experience, even if informal, such as leading a team or mentoring juniors.
• Familiarity with construction site challenges and environment.
• A valid CSCS card and SSSTS certification.
