Job summary

Apex Resources Ltd is seeking an experienced Sub Agent to support a major infrastructure project based in Wanlip, Leicestershire. The role involves coordinating site operations, managing subcontractors and driving progress with the Site Agent and Project Manager on a 6-month contract.

Key responsibilities include delivering work packages, coordinating labour and materials, and ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery. CSCS card is essential; SMSTS/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Sub Agent on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of site management, construction methodologies and project delivery.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple work fronts.
• Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of allocated work packages.
• Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant and materials.
• Support short-term planning and programme delivery.
• Ensure works are completed safely, on time and to specification.
• Monitor quality standards, inspections and site documentation.
• Review and implement RAMS and construction documentation.
• Liaise with engineers, commercial teams and site management to resolve technical issues.
• Promote high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance across site operations.

An established civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Sub Agent to support the successful delivery of a major infrastructure project based in Wanlip. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy project team, taking ownership of key work packages while ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with the Site Agent and Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in coordinating site operations, managing subcontractors and driving progress across the project.

The Role
