Job summary

EKFB is seeking a Sub Agent to join our Buckinghamshire team. You will assist with construction strategy, kick-off meetings, method statements, environmental and quality plans, construction programmes, procurement and design deliverables.

You will liaise with the Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials, manage the site engineering team, ensure safety, quality and contract compliance, and contribute to progress reports and cost control.

Qualifications

  • HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering) or equivalent.
  • Experience in site engineering and construction supervision.
  • Experience on Structures, Highways, Utilities or Earthworks.
  • Must have full driving licence and own transport to reach remote sites.
  • Holder of a CSCS card and SMSTS certificate.

  • Assist with construction strategy, kick-off meetings and planning documents.
  • Coordinate labour, plant, materials and temporary works on site.
  • Lead the site engineering team and develop site/section engineers.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements and SHEQ.

About The Role

EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineer and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall.

We’re looking for a Sub Agent, to join our team based in Buckinghamshire. Our Sub Agent will need to assist with the construction strategy, this includes kick-off meetings, pre-commencement documentation such as Method Statements, Environmental and Quality Plans, Construction programmes, procurement, and design deliverable schedules.

You must be able to liaise with our Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, materials and temporary works to carry out the activities to the required standards, programme and budget. You\'ll also m anage the site engineering team and be responsible for the performance and development of site and Section Engineers.

You\'ll be assisting with the co-ordination of construction operations, ensuring they conform to the contract requirements and the required level of safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ) is a key part of this role.

Assistance will also be required with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans and contribute to financial forecasting, site measurement, material reconciliations and cost control.

About You

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent
  • Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills
  • Experience of working on either Structures, Highways, Utilities or Earthworks
  • Y ou will be a holder of a full driving licence. You will also need to have your own transportation to get to site, our compounds are set in very remote locations and are not accessible by public transport
  • Holder of a CSCS card (white, white/yellow, gold, black or red)
  • Holder of SMSTS certificate
