Job summary

Kier Group recherche un Sub Agent pour rejoindre son équipe spécialisée en ressources naturelles, nucléaire et réseaux. Dans ce rôle basé sur site, vous superviserez la construction de divers projets d'ingénierie civile, tout en garantissant la qualité et en résolvant les problèmes techniques. Des compétences en gestion d'équipe et en ingénierie de site sont nécessaires, avec une préférence pour les candidats titulaires d'un HNC ou d'un diplôme pertinent.

Qualifications

• HNC ou diplôme pertinent requis.
• Expérience en ingénierie de site et compétences en supervision souhaitées.
• Détenteur d'une carte CSCS - Superviseur Gold, superviseur expérimenté ou manager.

Responsibilities

• Travailler avec l'équipe de site pour assurer la qualité et le progrès.
• Gérer l'équipe d'ingénierie sur site, y compris les ingénieurs de site et de section.
• Contribuer à la phase d'engagement des fournisseurs précoces (ESE) et gérer la documentation.

We're looking for a Sub Agent to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks (Environment) team and support the delivery of various Civil Engineering projects under the Southwest Environment Agency Collaborative Delivery Framework (CDF), where Kier acts as the Principal Contractor.

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

What will you be responsible for?

As a Sub Agent, you'll work alongside the ESE and Site Team to ensure construction is carried out accurately, maintain quality, keep records, avoid abortive or defective work, and ensure satisfactory progress. This is a site-based role reporting to Exeter.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Contributing to the Early Supplier Engagement (ESE) phase of projects, assisting with construction strategies, kick-off meetings, pre-commencement documentation such as method statements, environmental and quality plans, construction programmes, procurement, and design delivery schedules.
• Liaising with the Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, materials, and temporary works.
• Managing the site engineering team, including overseeing the performance and development of Site and Section Engineers.
• Identifying and resolving technical site issues in collaboration with the Agent.
• Ensuring site teams have the necessary documentation, information, and resources to perform their duties.

• Hold a relevant HNC/degree.
• Have experience and knowledge of practical site engineering activities and supervision skills.
• Possess a CSCS card - Supervisor Gold, experienced Supervisor, or Manager.
