Job description

Our client is a joint venture that brings together international, market-leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial, and BAM Nuttall. All four partners have specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing, and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe s latest high-speed rail projects.

We are seeking to recruit a Sub Agent to join our client s Tunnels team in the Greatworth to Southam Area.

As a Sub Agent, you will assist with the construction strategy, including kick-off meetings and the preparation of pre-commencement documentation such as Method Statements, Environmental and Quality Plans, Construction Programmes, Procurement, and Design Deliverable Schedules.

You will liaise with the Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, materials, and temporary works to carry out activities to the required standards, programme, and budget. The Sub Agent will also manage the site engineering team and be responsible for the performance and development of Site and Section Engineers. A key part of this role involves assisting with the coordination of construction operations, ensuring they conform to contract requirements and meet safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) standards.

This position will also assist in producing programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and contribute to financial forecasting, site measurement, material reconciliations, and cost control.
