Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick, part of VolkerWessels UK, is seeking a driven Sub Agent to join the Southern Renewals Enterprise (SRE) on Network Rail frameworks, based from the Basingstoke office. You will support earthworks and infrastructure projects across the Wessex and Sussex routes, managing workstreams, enforcing safety, quality and environmental standards.

The role requires experience on infrastructure projects, strong project management, leadership, and knowledge of CDM regulations; we value

Working within our Earthworks Portfolio and based from our Basingstoke office, you'll support the delivery of a diverse range of projects across the Wessex and Sussex routes.

As a Sub Agent, you will be exposed to a wide range of earthworks and infrastructure projects, working closely with experienced professionals to solve complex engineering challenges, manage multiple workstreams and play a key role in safely delivering successful project outcomes.

About you

• Experience working on infrastructure projects, ideally within a Rail environment
• Proven technical and project management capabilities
• Strong organisational, planning and leadership skills
• Good knowledge of CDM Regulations and their practical application
• Experience producing Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets and implementing safe systems of work
• Detailed knowledge of Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements within a project environment
