Stylist – Dog Groomer/Assistant Stylist – Trainee Dog Groomer – Cambridge Bar Hill – 39 Hours
Salary: Stylist (Dog Groomer) £13.85 per hour / Assistant Stylist (Trainee Dog Groomer) £13.46 per hour

What are the roles?
Our Stylists and Assistant Stylist dog groomers are essential to the success of our Pets Grooming salons.

Stylist:
Responsible for all aspects of pet grooming, delivering thorough, high-standard grooms. You will exceed customer expectations by providing excellent service and utilizing your communication skills to interact with customers and their pets daily.

Assistant Stylist:
You will provide high-quality pet care while gaining technical skills in dog grooming, including handling techniques, equipment use, and pre-grooming prep. We will train you to meet our standards of being the 'Best Pet Care Business in the World'. You’ll enjoy competitive pay, with opportunities to earn the Real Living Wage through our Earn As You Learn training programs, and additional pay through extra training.

Who are we looking for?

• People passionate about delivering excellent service.
• Flexible individuals capable of working a shift pattern across 6 days a week, as we are closed on Sundays. The minimum contract is 39 hours, but additional hours may be required.
• Experience with dogs in a professional grooming or pet care environment (note: bathing or grooming your own dog does not qualify as professional experience).
• Experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
• Experience in target-driven environments is desirable, but not essential.

• Stylists benefit from a certified iPet Level 3 training program and qualification.
• Assistant Stylists undergo comprehensive internal training, including a minimum of 1,000 hours to qualify as a Stylist.
• Commission (subject to targets and KPIs).
• At least 28 days paid annual leave, increasing to 33 days after 2 years (including bank holidays, pro-rata).
