Salary: Stylist (Dog Groomer) £11.84 per hour / Assistant Stylist (Trainee Dog Groomer) £11.44 per hour

Who are we?

We’re Pets at Home – if you love pets, you might already know about our Pet Care Centres, which include Pets Grooming salons and Vets for Pets practices around the UK.

What are the roles?

Our Stylists and Assistant Stylists are crucial to the success of our Pets Grooming salons.

Stylist: You will be responsible for all aspects of pet grooming and must confidently deliver a full, high-standard groom. You will exceed customer expectations by providing excellent service within the salon. Strong communication skills are essential as you will interact with customers and their pets daily.

Assistant Stylist: You will deliver the highest standard of pet care, demonstrating a basic understanding of grooming techniques, including handling, equipment use, and pre-grooming preparation. We will provide training, skills, and knowledge to help you deliver service aligned with our goal of being the 'Best Pet Care Business in the World'. You will enjoy a competitive base pay, with opportunities to earn the Real Living Wage (or more) through our Earn As You Learn training programmes, plus potential additional pay through extra training.

Who are we looking for?

• People passionate about delivering excellent service.
• Flexible individuals able to work a shift pattern across 6 days a week (we are closed on Sundays). You will receive a minimum contract of 39 hours, but may work more hours during busy periods, absences, or holidays.
• Experience working with or handling dogs in a professional grooming or pet care environment.
