We are recruiting Bank Study Physicians in London, available for evening and weekend shifts.

You will provide screening and assessment of subjects during their participation in clinical trials, ensuring all procedures are carried out and documented per protocol, SOP, OI, ICH GCP, and GMC requirements.

Please note, hVIVO works with various respiratory viruses, including Covid-19. Your health and safety considerations will be part of the interview process, especially if you are clinically vulnerable or shielding.

Main Responsibilities & duties
Clinical Procedures
  • Perform clinical procedures within protocol and competence
  • Supervise and review procedures performed by other staff
  • Conduct informed consent procedures adhering to ICH GCP standards
  • Provide clinical support and expertise to staff
  • Identify service improvement areas and collaborate with seniors
Study Management
  • Assist in staffing and scheduling
  • Review and contribute to study protocols for feasibility
  • Attend study-specific training
  • Record subject information accurately in source documentation and CRF
Volunteer Management
  • Ensure informed consent prior to procedures
  • Document consent in source records
  • Verify subject eligibility
  • Collect medical history and medication data
  • Update tracking forms and databases
  • Maintain professional boundaries
  • Liaise with cross-divisional teams for sample requirements
  • Ensure safe discharge and document to GP
  • Escalate medical issues appropriately
  • Provide out-of-hours emergency cover as needed
Skills & Experiences
