This is an exciting opportunity to join the Study Abroad team at the University of Brighton, working to ensure an optimal experience for our incoming Study Abroad students.
The Study Abroad Office offers a bespoke programme for international students applying to study abroad at the university. Reporting to the Study Abroad Office Manager, this role encompasses managing the entire service from application to departure and supporting the study abroad team.
The post-holder will oversee various aspects of the programme, including visa regulation checks, international qualifications, financial recording, timetable management, and supervising students during occasional off-site field trips.
The role is part of the wider International Team at the University of Brighton, a supportive environment that encourages sharing insights and resources across Study Abroad and Recruitment/Marketing functions. Despite recent growth, the team remains small, welcoming, and collaborative, focused on achieving the university's internationalisation objectives.
We seek a highly motivated individual with strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively across international boundaries. The successful candidate will have excellent time management skills, the ability to prioritize competing demands, and support team members as needed.
Please note this is a permanent, part-time role over 5 days, working from 09:30 to 15:30.
The university offers a range of benefits, including a generous annual leave package, holiday time over Christmas, and travel loan schemes.
