Criterion Studio Talent and Operations Director

Guildford Hybrid Role

At Criterion, we value creative collaboration, fresh ideas, and diverse perspectives. Our studio combines industry veterans and newcomers who inspire, support, and educate each other.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Criterion details are accurate in Airtable and coordinate with EU and North American teams on team and project movements.
  • Partner with finance to maintain data accuracy between Airtable and Anaplan systems.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to facilitate recruitment, remove roadblocks, and support hiring teams.
  • Liaise with Studio Head of Ops regarding related issues.

Studio/Project Talent and Staffing:

  • Facilitate Wellbeing surveys, liaise with HR, analyze results, and implement actions.
  • Conduct regular Team Health Checks.
  • Maintain work model allocations in Workday with HR.
  • Manage studio budget with Criterion FP&A for travel, entertainment, training, hardware, etc.
  • Oversee craft planning and development.
  • Coordinate training budgets and setups with HR and Studio GM.
  • Ensure staff participation in Criterion activities, working with North Studio.

General/Studio Operations:

  • Line management of Criterion Operations Coordinators in Guildford and Manchester.
  • Coordinate with Guildford Governance on ERG and Outreach activities.
  • Work with Studio GM to promote Criterion Studio locally and within the UK gaming industry.
  • Lead team-building, celebrations, swag, and culture initiatives.
  • Facilitate Studio AMA and All Hands meetings.
  • Oversee building site operations requests from Workplace Experience.
