Job description

BBC Studios’ Morning Live is now looking for 3 Studio Runners to join their fast paced, daily live output team.

Based: Manchester (or commutable distance), you will be required to be in the Morning Live office at least 3 times a week

The Studio Runner role is a key member of the day team having general runner responsibilities as well as supporting the PM team. Where possible you will also be the support for your day team with helping to conduct research chats, helping to write briefs, managing guests during your live show and prepping for demos.

Must have:

• Previous credits on studio shows.

• Strong time management & organisational skills and the ability to identify priorities and to work to tight deadlines.

• The ability to establish effective working relationships quickly with all departments and work effectively and efficiently as part of a team.

• Competent phone manner and the ability to use initiative when speaking with business talent guests and experts.

• An understanding and ability to handle confidential information with tact and sensitivity.

• This is not an entry role so previous experience is essential, those without won’t be considered.
