Job description

BBC Studios’ Morning Live is now looking for 3 Studio Runners to join their fast-paced, daily live output team.

Location: Manchester (or commutable distance). You will be required to be in the Morning Live office at least 3 times a week.

The Studio Runner role is a key member of the day team, responsible for general runner duties as well as supporting the PM team. You will also assist your team with conducting research chats, helping to write briefs, managing guests during live shows, and prepping for demos.

Must have:

• Previous credits on studio shows.
• Strong time management & organisational skills, with the ability to prioritize and work to tight deadlines.
• The ability to establish effective working relationships quickly with all departments and work effectively as part of a team.
• Competent phone manner and the ability to use initiative when speaking with business talent, guests, and experts.
• An understanding of and ability to handle confidential information with tact and sensitivity.
• This is not an entry-level role; previous experience is essential. Those without it will not be considered.
