Job description

The role of the Studio Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of productions, projects, and events, providing our stakeholders with an outstanding experience through all elements of studio production.

Reporting to the Senior Manager and working alongside our Studios Bookings and Craft Team Leaders, this role will apply strong leadership skills to provide clear direction and a consistent approach to stakeholder management and team development planning.

This key role aims to continually improve operational efficiencies while maintaining excellent service delivery to our clients.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of projects/productions from detailed specifications to on-time, within-budget completion.
  • Collaborate with Sky stakeholders to define demand accurately, ensuring decision-making efficiency and maximizing SPS operational efficiency.
  • Manage line supervision of Studio Resources Supervisors within the Studios Resources & Planning team, ensuring team engagement.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to identify future opportunities.
  • Provide reliable data reporting for planning, reviews, budgets, and business prioritization to meet KPIs.
  • Understand the Studio's / OB technical and operational procedures.
  • Promote health and safety practices and workplace well-being.
