Job description

About The Role:

An established and well-known architecture practice is seeking a confident, self-motivated Studio Manager to join their team on a part-time basis (25 hours per week).

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of their friendly and welcoming studio environment. This role also involves leading two members of the front-of-house team, maintaining facilities, and supportingproject teams with events and client meetings. The ideal candidate will come across as a proactive, friendly,and driven individual with strong leadership skills and excellent communicationskills, preferably from an architecture and design background.

The position is for 25 hours per week, which can be spread across 4 to 5 days. This company offers standoutbenefits and progression opportunities based intheir London studio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee management of front of house and reception
  • Manage maintenance and repairs of office
  • Assist with health and safety whilst overseeing first aiders
  • Coordinate with IT to addressissues and organise desk moves
  • Manage supplies
  • Support project teams with events and meetings
  • Assist with ISO standards and audits
  • Organise and manage weekly staff catch-ups

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar role in the creative industries
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience overseeing other team members – beneficial
  • Previous experience of workplace H&S
  • Knowledge of ISO certification – beneficial
  • Strong eye for detail and accuracy
